I turn 30 in October and to think that my 20s, supposedly the best years of my life, are about to end, is nothing short of absolutely terrifying. When I was younger, 30 was old. Adults were real a$$ adults at 30 with a stable job, living in a house, properly investing, and with their s*** all together, they were parents even! I’m supposed to be approaching 30? I recently have told people that I still feel like I could be 18 years old. Am I even allowed to be turning 30 this year? Like, is this what it’s supposed to feel like turning 30? Maybeeeeee… I mean, what I can say is this is what I realistically feel at 29…

29 and feeling fine

29 just wanna wine and dine

29 always gotta hit the grind

29 for some reason, always in a bind

29 growing and advancing the mind

29 go out and always be kind

29 manifest and get aligned

29 wait…am I blind?

29 all hemajang and Dakine

29 make sure you try not to whine

29 gotta stay in line

29 am I trying to live someone else’s life or am I actually living mine

29 get a backbone, a spine

29 ehh I can act a little asinine

29 I think it would taste better with a little bit of thyme

29 the world has way too much crime

29 be smart about every penny and dime

29 growth always comes with a climb

29 let’s goooo shots of tequila and lime

29 should we get a canine

29 taking trips, we flyin

29 girl its okay that you’re cryin

29 make sure everything you do is worth your time

29 why is Scorpio my sign

29 holy shiiiiii, we getting married, the start of a life intertwined

This is 29 and I just gotta let my light shine. Happy Saturday folks, Sistah Ceej loves you! Hit me up at cjslifeemail@gmail.com !
