Motherhood is Childish

I recently told a friend that the youngest age I feel like I could be at any moment is 21 or 22. I’m really just referring to my humor and immaturity, but not physically, like duh my knees and back are beat LMAO.

Something that they never tell you about becoming a mom is that you revert. You revert to your childhood. Baby voices, animating inanimate objects, and laughing at nothing. It’s finding the joy in everything and also cracking jokes 24/7. It’s how I want to feel forever (minus the sleep deprivation and anxiety). It makes your husband a lot softer too. He’ll sing songs you didn’t know existed, make jokes you still don’t think are as funny as yours, and talk to you/about you (all good things) in a baby voice towards your son. The child in me is back. That’s it, that’s the story, let’s be kids at heart forever.

Honestly, just here asking a real ass question. Is there such a thing as new mom neck? As a breastfeeding mom, I’m constantly looking down and slightly the left or right trying to feed my milk monster
