Life Updates!

Talk about a hiatus. I've been gone for a while. Here is the rundown on my life updates...

  1. Currently Funemployed! : TBH, I feel like this is not going to come as a surprise to those of you who have been regularly reading my blogs because I have been funemployed before this. The thing isssss... case management just was not for me. Ya girl is gonna be in healthcare and taking care of patients directly or admin and hands off. That job was way too in between. So I ended up leaving that job in February, right after I wrote that last blog and I went on vacation to Florida and found out ...

  2. I'M PREGGERS!!: Due in October so currently 27 weeks (: So so so excited for this new chapter of my life, Motherhood. It's so crazy to even think that I'm old enough to be having a baby. Who said? HAHAH. Literally all the hormones make me wanna cry just thinking of it between the stress, excitement, and anxiety. Little movements get me more excited than when we make it into a new popular NYC restaurant (that's big)! Speaking of food, your girl has been absolutely RAVENOUS when it comes to her appetite. Trying to stick to healthy (ish) snacks for the most part but it's so hard when you live in NYC the largest food mecca in the world, where everything you could want is at your damn fingertips LITERALLY! But I better take advantage of it because last big update...

  3. We are moving!: Okay, I know I know, you guys lived through us moving to Hawaii and then back to New York, but now that we are starting a family it's time to really settle down and figure out a place to raise our kid(s maybe?). We are still staying in New York but a few hours north! The house search is NOT for the weak. We actually are lucky enough to have an option to be to build up from a lot that was gifted to us OR we can just buy an already built house. The thing for building is.... town regulations be CRAY! Moreso, if you don't have a general contractor because the average joe/josephina don't know the upstate process for building on land. A septic plan? A well? Foundation plans?! Installation of electric, plumbing and AC? The need for an engineer approved plan for layout of the house? Yeah, talk about a learning process. We were really starting from scratch so lots of trial and error with this but there are other options for nice houses with lots of land but just of course, just comes with the build of the previous owners. Not particularly what we want. So just dealing with that process too.

So that's the current status! A friend and former coworker of mine inspired me to get back to writing this blog being that I am about to hit my third trimester and have so many life transitions going on. (Thanks Vilmarie!)- She also is a regular reader, which I also greatly appreciate. But I mean, would be nice to document a little bit. And what the heck else am I doing? Not working, that's for sure. Trying to stay active for the baby and organize as much as I can to be prepped but I have got some time on my hands. I also have some other side things planned that I'm about to surprise myself with but hey, nothing is gonna change if you don't change anything... can't just expect anything to happen out of the blue. So the PLAN is to do some weekly bumpdates on here. Stay vulnerable, be open and create some consistency. Write about the home buying/building process, pregnancy/MOTHERHOOD (omg still so excited), and all the little ridiculous things in between that pop up. OH ALSO! Shoutout to my readers in Brazil and Sweden? Didn't think I was reaching people all the way out there, but thanks for popping by!

K, that's all I got for today. Now go listen to Yukon by J Beibs! I literally thought it was gonna be about potatoes when I first saw the title hahaha. But actually, it's my fave song out right now. K CHEEEEEHOOOOOOOOO! Love you, mean it! Email or message me if you wanna talk! Sistah Ceej, OUTSKIES!
